The reality TV star turned model is this year’s winner of the World’s Top Model for 2017 after replacing the mesmerizing, Gisele Bundchen. Owing to Jenner’s large social media following including 85 million Instagram followers, brand endorsements, and contracts with La Perla, Estee Lauder, Adidas, Fendi, Alexander Wang, her new clothing line with sister and fellow KUWTK star, Kylie Jenner, along with regular paychecks for her appearance in the hit reality TV show, KUWTK; Jenner rightfully deserved the top model spot. Despite multiple glitches such as the much talked about controversial Pepsi advertisement which caused major backlash, Kendall rose to the top and was crowned the best and highest paid model of 2017.

Despite announcing her retirement from modeling in 2015, the former Victoria’s Sceret Angel did not fall far behind on the annual top listing. The Brazilian beauty was the second highest paid model in 2017 owing to her affiliation with brands such as Caroline Herrera, Arrezo shoes, Vivara jewelry, and many more. In addition to being a supermodel, Bundchen is also a producer and actress.

The hilarious domestic goddess and former Sports Illustrated cover girl, Chrissy Teigen snagged the #3 spot on the list. Having gathered a large social media fan following, Teigen has been affiliated with multiple brands and earned $13.5 million in 2017. In addition to her cook book launch, Teigan has made large sums through food and drink adverts with companies such as Vita Coco, Smirnoff and McDonalds.

The longest running angel in Victoria’s Secret’s history, Adriana Lima won her first pageant while she was still in elementary school. Till this day, Adriana Lima is nothing short of an icon. She has been the face of multiple ad campaigns and companies such as Maybelline New York cosmetics, a title she has been holding since 2000 till date. Other companies that she has worked with include Super Bowl, Kia Motors Commercials and many more.

Gigi Hadid bagged the 5th spot on the Forbes annual list after earning $9.5 million in 2017 alone. The Victoria’s Secret angel and fashion icon made her debut whilst she was a teenager and now at the age of 22, her net worth exceeds our wildest imagination; thanks to her affiliation with brands such as Topshop, Maybelline, Tommy Hilfiger and BMW. In 2016, Hadid was crowned with the title of International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council.

2017 was also a significant year for plus size fashion as the iconic, Ashley Graham, the world’s favorite plus size model took away the tenth spot on the list.
